This is an end of day Alert, produced after today's Brazilian market close. It concludes the BSS News Bites intra-day Alert series (summaries below).

BMFbovespa, Brazil's largest diversified financial services company by market capitalisation, is up R$1.20 (or 5.1%) over the past four trading days. After rising 0.8% on Wednesday, and 1.2% on Thursday, the stock rose 2.3% on Friday to trade at R$24.88 vs. the Brazil Index 50 that is up 2.0% in the same period.

BMFBovespa SA - Bolsa de Valores Mercadorias e Futuros (SA:BVMF3) extended its gains Friday, rising an additional 33.0 centavos (or 1.4%) to trade at R$24.65. The stock increased 0.84% on Wednesday and 1.16% on Thursday bringing its 5-day rise to 4.4%. It is now approaching its 50-day high of R$24.75.
