November 18 2016: KQ launch six new docking bays at its cargo facility

NAIROBI NOVEMBER 18, 2016 - Kenya Airways today launched six new modern docking bays at KQ Cargo ACHL (Africa Cargo Handling Limited) warehouse in a bid to improve customer experience through enhanced efficiency. The new docking bays, based at jKIA, will ensure increase in amount of cargo moving by creating express channels that will shorten the delivery journey for import goods, reduce congestion and optimise resource utilisation within the facility.

Presiding over the launch ceremony, Kenya Airways' Chief Operating Officer jan De Vegt said; "Today's launch consolidates our position as a premier imports facility at jKIA and more importantly demonstrates our resilience in finding ways to deliver service improvements and efficiencies to our cargo customers.
